How To Make Homemade Tortilla Chips

Ingredients
- Twelve 6 inch white corn tortillas
- 2 tbs Vegetable oil
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1/4 tsp salt

Basically, you’ll grab your tortillas and brush them liberally with a mixture of oil, salt, and spices.
Next, you’ll cut the tortillas into wedges and bake them in the oven.

Can You Store Homemade Tortilla Chips?
Certainly, for a little while. You should dab them with a paper towel and allow them to cool completely. Store them in an airtight container.

How To Make Tortilla Chips
Ingredients
- Twelve 6 inch white corn tortillas
- 2 tbs Vegetable oil
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Mix vegetable oil, salt and chili powder in a bowl, brush onto both sides of the tortillas
- Stack and cut tortillas in to 6 wedges each
- Place tortilla wedges onto a baking sheet (use 2 sheets or make 2 batches)
- Bake for 12-15 minutes; turning baking sheet around half way
- Chips are done when they're golden brown and crisp
- While hot, sprinkle with salt if desired
