While everyone is tossing bean bags or playing catch, I’ll be manning the grill. Trust me, I don’t mind. As you well know, I love grilling all the things….all the time! So, let’s get to this taco burger recipe, whaddaya say!
Grilled BBQ Taco Burgers
Ingredients:
- 1lb Ground beef
- Burger buns
- 1 tbsp. Grill Mates® Montreal Steak Seasoning
- 1 tbsp. McCormick® Ground Cumin
- 1/2 tbsp. McCormick® Paprika
- 2 tsp. McCormick® Chili Powder
- Shredded lettuce
- Pico de Gallo
- Sour cream
- Stubb’s® Original Bar-B-Q Sauce
Directions:
Pre-heat grill to high heat and oil grates as you normally would.
Create a dry rub for your burgers by mixing McCormick® Ground Cumin, Grill Mates® Montreal Steak Seasoning, McCormick® Paprika, and McCormick® Chili Powder in a small dish.
Grill Mates® is a perfectly blended combination of McCormick® herbs and spices, adding flavor to flame for three decades. Combined with the #1 premium BBQ sauce, Stubb’s® Bar-B-Q Sauce, providing authentic flavors for over 50 years, and other McCormick® spices, taco night just got a whole lot better!
Next, go ahead and form your ground beef into 1/4 lb. patties and sprinkle them with the rub.
Grill the hamburgers until you’ve reached your desired doneness. Over high heat, usually 5 minutes per side gets them med-well done.
Assemble the taco burgers by placing the burgers on the bun and topping with Stubb’s® Bar-B-Q Sauce, sour cream, Pico de Gallo, and shredded lettuce.
Place the top of the bun on the burger and you have yourself a unique taco night recipe that everyone will love! We’re serving our recipe with ears of Mexican Street Corn!

Yummy!
A birthday cake on the grill? Now THAT sounds like fun!
Looks fabulous! Will try these tonight! Going to be over 100 here today, no cooking is done unless it is outside on one of the grills. Then I have to bake a birthday cake for tomorrow, and, yes on the grill. 🌞 Thanks for the spice recipe. I make my own just like you do, and it is always fun to try something new. 🤗
Thank you, they are! Hope you get the chance to give them a try! 🙂
These look fantastic!
