Ingredients

  • Crust: Simply use a fresh 15oz package of pizza dough found in the refrigerator section.
  • Cheese:  We use Mozzarella cheese and a little bit of sharp cheddar. This will give you the most flavor. It’s a combination that not a lot of people use, but seriously. Try it! It’s amazing!
  • Sauce: There’s no need for sauce on our breakfast pizza. Make this breakfast pizza recipe without sauce and you’ll love it!

Breakfast Pizza Toppings

These breakfast toppings will make a delicious pizza, but don’t limit yourself. The possibilities are endless. Make this pizza yours!

  • Meat: Sausage is our main meat, but think bacon, ham, or even ground beef
  • Veggies: If you’re in a rush, skip cutting the veggies. Otherwise, you can add peppers, onion, and tomatoes. Again, there are so many flavor combinations you can try. Don’t limit yourself
  • Herbs and Spices: Salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and oregano, combined in a small bowl

You’ll also need flour and oil to make this recipe.

How To Make Breakfast Pizza

This homemade breakfast pizza is super simple, you’ll be done in just a few steps!

Place pizza dough on a floured surface, sprinkle with flour, cut into 4 pieces. Press and stretch each pizza dough quarter into rounds (or near rounds!) haha

Oil a baking sheet and place the mini-pizza doughs onto it. Poke them with a fork.

As an alternative to oiling a baking sheet, I have recently absolutely fallen in love with these parchment sheets. I mean, they cook so evenly, every time! You’ve GOT to try them! I get the 4 packs of 25 sheets and they last several months. Every time you bake, you’ll want to use them!

Leftover Breakfast Pizza?

What’s that? Do you have leftover pizza? I didn’t even know that was a thing!

Nevertheless, you can store this pizza just like any other pizza. We usually put ours in one of these large flat plastic food containers and slide it into the fridge.

Just pop the pizza onto a plate and into the microwave to reheat, just like you would with any other pizza!

Notes

I much prefer using parchment paper over baking with oil when doing pizza. The parchment paper really cooks the bottom of the pizza evenly. I would highly suggest you do the same!
I usually grab this 4 pack of sheets and we're set for several months.
