Whether you’re coming home from work or just feel like fixing something quick for dinner.

There are a lot of al fresco dinner sausage flavors to choose from. With so many flavors, you can customize this pizza to suit your tastebuds.

We’re going with the Roasted Garlic flavor. Yum!

Flaky, buttery crust, combined with pizza sauce, layers of cheese, loads of chicken sausage, thinly sliced peppers, and onions – it’s the real deal folks! This quick homemade crescent roll pizza will give your favorite pizza joint a run for its money!

Crescent Roll Pizza Veggies

What veggies might you want to put on your crescent roll pizza? We’re opting for red bell peppers, green bell peppers, and red onions.

All of our veggies will be cut thin with the mandolin slicer and layered on top of the cheese. 

Of course, the possibilities are endless. Add black olives, green olives, tomatoes, mushrooms, banana peppers. Really any veggies you like can go on this pizza pie!

Swap out pizza sauce for barbecue sauce and al fresco Sweet and Smokey BBQ chicken sausage for even more flavor!

Spicey Pizza

Add a little hot sauce to your pizza sauce and use al fresco Spicy Jalapeno fully cooked dinner sausage. That’ll heat things up in the kitchen!

Greek Pizza

Use marinara sauce instead of pizza sauce, feta cheese instead of mozzarella, add spinach, peppers, greek olives, and top with sliced al fresco Spinach and Feta chicken sausage.

How To Make Crescent Roll Pizza

  • Check the crescent roll can and preheat the oven according to the directions. Ours says 350 degrees F.
  • Line a sheet pan with parchment paper, or spray the pan with cooking spray.
  • Roll out the crescent roll dough and pinch the seams. 
  • Melt two tablespoons of butter and brush it onto the dough.
  • Add sauce, cheese, then peppers, onions, and al fresco dinner sausage.
  • Bake in the oven for approximately 14 minutes or until golden brown and cheese is melted.

Crescent Roll Pizza

Crescent roll pizza is a quick and easy weeknight dinner recipe - a true one pan meal!

Ingredients

  • 1 8oz Can crescent rolls
  • 1 Tbsp Butter melted
  • 2 Tbsp Pizza sauce
  • 1/2 cup Mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup Sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 small Green bell pepper thinly sliced
  • 1 small Red bell pepper thinly sliced
  • 1 small Red onion thinly sliced
  • 2 links al fresco Roasted Garlic Chicken Sausage sliced into medallions

Instructions

  • Preheat oven according to the crescent roll package. Unroll crescent rolls on a parchment-lined or greased baking sheet. Pinch crescent triangles together
  • Brush melted butter all over the crescent rolls
  • Add pizza sauce, sprinkle on mozzarella and cheddar cheeses, top with peppers, onion, and chicken sausage
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-14 minutes or until golden brown and the cheese is melted. Cook a few minutes longer for a crispier crust.
