3 Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies Recipe
The best part? You can remember all the ingredients really easily too.
Just remember the number 1. There are three ingredients in our peanut butter cookie recipe. Each one contains a 1 measurement.
Peanut butter, sugar, and eggs. Those are the three things you need for this recipe.
It’s that simple!
Note: Because some people don’t like too much sugar, they’ve tried cutting the sugar in half and said yields great results.
I’ve yet to try using only 1/2 cup of sugar, but you can give it a shot if you’d like!
Additionally, you can use 1/2 cup confectioners sugar and 1/2 cup granulated sugar for a smoother cookie texture.
Mix all the ingredients together until smooth.
Then roll the dough into 1.5 inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Press them with a fork to make the criss-cross pattern you love in old fashioned peanut butter cookies.
Bake them in a preheated 350 degree F. oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
Once the edges have browned slightly, remove them from the oven and sprinkle them with more sugar.
Cool for five minutes before moving them to a cooling rack.

3 Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup sugar + sugar to sprinkle on top
- 1 egg
- Preheat oven to 350°
- Prepare cookie sheet with parchment paper or cooking spray
- With your mixer, mix sugar, peanut butter, and egg in a medium bowl until smooth
- Roll cookie dough into 1½ balls and place on cookie sheet
- Flatten out each cookie and create a criss-cross pattern using a fork
- Bake for 9-10 minutes in preheated oven
- Remove from oven and sprinkle with sugar
- Cool cookies on baking sheet for 5 minutes, move to cooling rack with spatula
- Serve warm or cooled. Store in airtight container for several days
