Ham and Smoked Gouda Grilled Cheese Sandwich
Let’s make grilled ham and cheese sandwiches with our Hatfield Uncured Ham leftovers and our delicious smoked cheese!
Ingredients
- Bread of your choosing
- Hatfield Uncured Ham leftovers – sliced
- Smoked Cheese – we like Gouda or Provolone
- Thinly sliced apples
- Dijon mustard
- Honey
- Butter
Directions
Making ham and smoked Gouda grilled cheese sandwiches is quite easy.
Spread the Dijon mustard on two slices of bread.
Add ingredients in layers on one slice of bread. First the sliced leftover Hatfield Uncured Ham, then a drizzle of honey, slices of apple, and cheese.
Place the other slice of bread on top and butter the outside of the sandwich.
Toast sandwiches on a griddle over medium heat until you’ve reached your preferred level of toastiness.
Tip: With a spatula, give a firm press on the sandwiches to ensure they grill evenly.
To make this day after Christmas homemade meal even more comforting for your guests, serve everyone a bowl of tomato soup.
This is the perfect send-off for your friends and family.

Ingredients
- 8 Slices Bread
- 1 Leftover Christmas Ham
- 4 Slices Smoked Cheese
- 2 Count Thinly sliced apples
- 4 Tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 Honey For drizzling
- 4 Tablespoons Butter
Instructions
- Spread Dijon mustard on two slices of bread
- Layer slices of ham, a drizzle of honey, apple, smoked cheese, and top with second slice of bread
- Spread butter on the outside of the sandwiches
- Over medium heat on your griddle or in a skillet to desired toastiness
