If you’ve ever wanted a quick and easy homemade brownie recipe, this is it! With just a few ingredients, you can whip it up in no time.
This dessert will give you the chocolaty Easter dessert you’ve been looking for!
How Do You Make Homemade Brownies?
No, we’re not using a box brownie mix this time. We’re making them from scratch. But, don’t think it’s complicated. Because I don’t do complicated recipes!
The easier, the better right? I think so.
Ingredients
- Eggs
- Butter
- Salt
- Flour
- Cocoa powder
- Sugar
- Whipped topping
- M&M’s
- Food coloring
- Dove Chocolate Candies
Directions
First, we’ll make the homemade brownies.
It’s so easy. Because we use just a handful of ingredients.
I’ve been using this brownie recipe for years. Because it’s wonderful with ice cream, whipped topping, or adding to other desserts.
Why do I add it to other things to make desserts? Because this brownie recipe is on the small side. In fact, it yields an 8×8 or 9×9 pan of brownies.
So, I cut them up into small pieces and create a new dessert every time I make them!
Mix the Ingredients
Begin by stirring together the dry ingredients in one bowl. Then, in another bowl, whisk the eggs and melted butter together.
Next, pour the liquid mixture over the dry mixture and stir together until well combined.
Then, add the homemade brownie batter to a greased (with butter) square baking pan.
Bake the Brownies
Finally, bake them in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, remove and add the M&M’s to the top. Continue baking until done, about 27-32 minutes more.
Once the brownies are done and cooled, you can fold in a few drops of food coloring with your whipped topping.
Lastly, add layers of whipped topping and brownies to parfait dishes and top with a couple of M&M’s!
See? Super simple!
