Have you heard? M&M’s Crispy are back and I’m putting them in these easy St. Patrick’s Day cupcakes!

I missed out and didn’t try them last time they were available, but now that they’re back I have to see what all the buzz is about!

Since everyone is talking about them, I decided that I would include them in my St. Patrick’s Day Cupcakes! #CollectiveBias #CrispyIsBack

St. Patrick’s Day Cupcakes with M&M’s

We stopped by Walmart and found them sitting right there on the shelf alongside the other M&M’s and some were even in the checkout aisle.

They’re everywhere, and everyone is talking about them. Last week someone in a local online forum that I run started a thread to ask where they could get M&M’s Crispy candies locally since they heard that they just came back. I didn’t know then, but now I do, and told them where at Walmart I found them!

M&Ms Crispy are back!

You can also order them on Amazon HERE.

At first, I didn’t know what all the fuss was about. People actually went out of their way to ask where they could get M&M’s Crispy candies? Were they that good?

I didn’t know until I cracked open a bag. And yes. They are that good.

You’ll also notice that in the individual snack size bags, found in the check out aisle at Walmart, M&M’s Crispy candies have a lower calorie count of only 180 calories per serving!

They’ve been a long time favorite in our house. They are the best quick, pick-me-up snack for when you need a sweet treat on the go.

For us, the peanut variety vanishes the fastest, but I think these M&M’s Crispy give the peanut’s a run for their money!

Now it’s time to whip up our St. Patrick’s Day Cupcake Recipe and add some awesome M&M’s Crispy candies to the mix! Whoop Whoop!

They worked great inside the cupcakes as well as on top, and they taste fantastic, everybody loved them!

I’m sure they’ll go great in any cupcake recipe you have, but if you like a homemade, dense cupcake – check out our recipe below. You likely have most of the ingredients already – take a peek!

We purchased the medium size bag because we were only making 12 cupcakes (which is what the St. Patty’s Day Cupcake Recipe below calls makes), but if you’re going to be making more than 12 cupcakes, you should grab the BIG bag which is available in the baking aisle at Walmart. Scroll down for our recipe.

Oh, and PS: we had mint chocolate chip ice cream shakes too. It was a GREAT afternoon! 😀
