Barbeque Memories

When I was younger, my family used to fire up the barbecue every chance we got.

From our grill at home to the grill at the beach. There was always charcoal burning! Making A&W Root Beer chicken on the grill… Now that’s a fun memory to keep!

Every weekend during the summer, and even some weeknights, we could be found at the beach.

Sometimes we’d grill at the beach on those park BBQ setups, you know what I’m talking about. A pole stuck in the ground with a grill sitting on top of it…

However, most of the time though, after the beach we’d go home to play games in the yard while dad got the grill going.

  1. Hey David, thanks for stopping by. I think it would work well in the slow cooker. Maybe add the sauce 3/4 of the way through cooking so it doesn’t cook off before it’s done? Have fun experimenting and come back and let us know how it turned out!
