This strawberry syrup recipe is very easy and tastes delicious on your breakfast. Pour this recipe for strawberry syrup over your pancakes, waffles, or even french toast.

Where can you buy strawberry syrup? I have no idea. But, apparently not at a grocery store near us!

We went to five different grocery stores looking for strawberry breakfast syrup and couldn’t find it anywhere.

Sure, every restaurant in the area has it…but we wanted some for breakfast at home!

Nevertheless, I decided to whip up our own.

It takes about 30 minutes to make; most of that 30 minutes is just watching the pot and stirring.

It’s real easy to do!

Strawberry Syrup Recipe

Let’s get on with it and make this simple recipe. It really is only three ingredients and will taste great poured over your favorite breakfast or brunch!

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1 Cup White Sugar
  • 2 Cups Strawberries – leaves removed and cut into quarters

Instructions

Place the water and sugar in a saucepan over medium-high heat; stir until sugar is completely dissolved.

Add the strawberries to the saucepan and bring to a boil. Continue boiling for 10 minutes.

Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer until the sauce is thick and the strawberries have become soft and mushy.

Strain the liquid into a bottle and refrigerate until ready to use.

Making strawberry syrup is very simple and you won’t have to go searching the shelves at all the different grocery stores to find it.
