Is there a limit to the number of waffle toppings you can put on a single waffle? We absolutely love waffles in our house and love trying different toppings, from savory to sweet and everything in between.

What time of year do you enjoy waffles the most? When fall rolls around here in New England, we love eating warm waffles fresh off the waffle iron.

Waffle toppings, a photo collage of four waffle toppings including churro style toppings, poached egg toppings, chili toppings, and cream topping for your waffles.

Then again, come spring when the maple syrup is running, we love making waffles and indulging then, too! I guess a big stack of waffles really is a year-round food after all.

Today we’re talking about waffle toppings though. From pouring to stacking, piling, and even sprinkling, there’s a topping for every waffle and every taste bud.

Sweet Waffle Toppings

Got a sweet tooth? These sweet waffle toppings will take your dessert experience to a whole new level.

Who doesn’t love a dessert inspired breakfast?!

These waffles are light and fluffy on the inside, golden and crispy on the outside, and coated in cinnamon-sugar just like a churro.

Strawberries and Cream

These scrumptious Belgian Chocolate Waffles are a delicious and simple brunch or breakfast idea!

The magic is in the addition of the whipped egg whites, which make them extra light and airy. They can be made ahead, frozen and popped into the toaster for a quick breakfast!

Topped with real whipped cream, fresh strawberries and maple syrup, they are a Sunday brunch dream come true. They are also Weight Watchers friendly!
