Who knew baked pumpkin donuts were so easy to make? I suppose pumpkin season is all year long for some people, not just fall. But this pumpkin donut recipe should seriously be on your list of must-make breakfasts this fall.

Ingredients
1/2cupvegetable oil
3large eggs
1 to 1 1/2cupsgranulated sugar
1 1/2cupscanned pumpkin puree
1 1/2teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
1 1/2teaspoonssalt
1 1/2teaspoonsbaking powder
1 3/4cups+ 2 tablespoons flour
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease two donut pans.
In a large bowl, beat together oil, eggs, sugar, pumpkin puree, spices, salt, and baking powder until smooth.
Add flour, stirring just until smooth.
Fill the donut pans about 3/4 full
Bake the donuts for 15 to 18 minutes, or until toothpick inserted into the thickest part comes out clean
Remove the donuts from the oven, allow to cool for 5 minutes before transferring to cooling rack
Notes
Optional: While still warm, roll in a mixture of sugar and cinnamon or top with cream cheese frosting and bacon!
